1. About Prayer Sisters

Prayer Sisters is a mobile application that connects Christian women with prayer partners. The Service includes our mobile app, website at prayersisters.app, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Prayer Sisters (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Prayer Sisters is intended for women who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Account Registration

To use Prayer Sisters, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with anyone.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

Identity Verification

Prayer Sisters requires selfie verification to maintain a trustworthy community. You agree to complete verification honestly and to not attempt to impersonate another person or circumvent the verification process. Accounts that fail or circumvent verification may be suspended or removed.

3. Community Guidelines

Prayer Sisters is a sacred space. You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm any other user.
• Post content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Share personal information of others without their consent.
• Spam, solicit, or advertise products or services to other members.
• Attempt to access another user's account or the Service's systems without authorization.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the Service in any manner.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these guidelines, with or without notice.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of the content you post on Prayer Sisters (your messages, journal entries, prayer requests, community posts, and profile information). By posting content, you grant Prayer Sisters a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and the consequences of sharing it. We do not endorse any user-submitted content.

Journal entries are private. We do not share your private journal entries with any other user or third party, except as required by law.

5. Matching and Connections

Prayer Sisters provides tools to help connect you with other members, but we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any match. We encourage you to exercise good judgment in all connections you make through the Service.

If any member makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please use the in-app reporting and blocking tools. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

6. Intellectual Property

The Prayer Sisters name, logo, app design, and all content created by us (including text, graphics, and software) are owned by or licensed to Prayer Sisters and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Service.

Prayer Sisters is a social platform and is not a licensed counseling, therapy, or mental health service. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional religious, psychological, or medical advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRAYER SISTERS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. We will notify you of termination unless prohibited by law or safety considerations.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date and, for material changes, notify you via push notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
